I came in for a xray check up and it takes forever and also the receptionist was rude and didn't care about the patient time or anything.
They are completely rude and not worth coming back to...
I LOVE this place! What a wonderful find. I recently moved to the area and got very ill with a sinus infection. I couldn't wait for an appointment. One of the great things about Russell Medical is you don't need an appointment!! I was on my own and very weak and needed care right away. They saw me right away, diagnosed my condition, and electronically sent my prescriptions to Publix (which is in the same parking lot). I have since been there for an annual physical (appointment was needed for that, which is expected). I eventually needed further care for an ear infection and again, I didn't need an appointment, and they are open until 8:00pm through the week. I had some questions that I forgot to ask while I was there and left a voice message for the nurse. I received a phone call first thing the next morning. This is not a 'Doc in the Box', it is a convenient go-to place for all medical matters. I'm so glad to have found Russell Medical, it's like a mile and a half down the road, right next to my bank, I can shop at Publix while my prescription is being prepared or go to one of the great restaurants in the same shopping area.
I'm a physician from out of town who was visiting Cumming for the weekend. I became acutely ill and went to Russell Medical for care. It was truly superb! The entire team was kind, compassionate, efficient and thoughtful. The care was evidence-based and appropriate. I was grateful for the especially gentle nurse who placed my IV. I'd highly recommend this office to others in the area.
Office staff is great, but the female doctor is a bit off. She was like a completely different person each time we came in. It was hard to have ongoing care while seeing her. If you only need to see a doctor once in awhile you would likely be OK but for anything else I would recommend looking elsewhere.
Had to sit in the waiting room for 33 mins before I was told they could not see my sick child because they were not his primary. Although, They are an urgent care facility they don't bill as one!??? It would have been nice to know this as soon as I walked in instead of having My child roll around in pain in their waiting Room for 33 minutes. Hopefully they won't do this to anyone else. When your child is sick and people waste your time like this I'm sure any mother would be Infuriated.
