Dr Alvarez discovered my throat cancer 3 years ago. With his expertise and other Dr's, I am in remission. I am still seeing him until we know it is totally gone. When you are with a winner, why change. Oh yes, and his staff, Competent, funny and fun. They can give you a mental lift while the Dr takes care of you physically.
Do not go here. They will not return nurse calls. Lie to you and not fix their errors. Their MA ordered the wrong labs on my daughter. I got a bill for over 1000.00 from quest. Called the office multiple times and emailed them. Never once did they call me back. When I would get them on the phone they said they corrected the codes. Spoke to lab they never once attempted to fix their error of ordering the wrong test. The office staff and MA/nurse are pointless. Before this I had a nurse call no one called back. I also found out they like to double bill for certain procedures using different codes when I saw all my claims through my insurance. I have filed a complaint against them with the joint commissioner and the insurance commissioner. The Cumming staff is a joke!
They were fine as a practice. I did not appreciate them always pushing these 'reviews' in front of my face after each visit asking me to post something about my 'experience' about them. My time is valuable and I don't want to spent it marketing for my doctor all the time. None of my other doctors push so hard on this stuff and I wish this practice would back off on it.
Always a pleasant experience while there. Very friendly doctors who take the time to explain what is wrong and the treatment. I would recommend this place to anyone.
The ENT Institute staff- front desk, schedulers, nurses, audiologists and doctors are amazing. I have been to both the Johns Creek and Cumming offices, and everyone is so professional, kind and caring. Dr. Alvarez is one of the most experienced, compassionate doctors and Brittany, one of the schedulers is wonderful.. I truly feel lucky to have found this practice.
