One of the best Hertz local edition locations in the US. Great people, great customer service and a pretty good inventory considering you are in Cumming and not at the Atlanta Airport.
Hertz in general is a hassle-filled poorly run company. I am forced to rent with them because of my company and have had poor experiences more often than not. The Cumming location is unaccommodating (won't help you get the ride you need), rude, and extremely poor customer service. I live in Cumming but NEVER rent from this location. The Alpharetta location is better, actually has some car selection, and they try to help. It is located in Hilton hotel and is probably the oddest office you will ever see, but you can actually get a car from there.
Car was great and weekend price was great. However, the trick is if you do a one day rental on the weekend for a cheap price they then hold $500 of your money on your credit or debit card hostage for over a week. Apparently they have no way of stopping charges from accumulating over the weekend and Monday since no one is there to check the car in and apparently they can't figure out how to get your money back quickly. No way I would do that again!! Renter beware!
Very quick service. The employee was waiting for me when I arrived. They handed me my keys and I was on my way in less than just a few minutes. Great experience, would recommend Hertz to anyone I know.
We had made a reservation at this location months in advance. We even called the day before to confirm the reservation and they did confirm on the phone that the car would be ready and I would'ne need to wait. When we got there the next day, they said they had no cars left. Hertz needs to shut down this location. We missed an important event thanks to this location. Stay far away from this hertz location.
