Beautiful and peaceful campground - and situated on gorgeous Lake Sidney Lanier. Great place for peace and relaxation or plenty of water sports/fun. The people that complain about the staff harassing them must be doing something to bring it on themselves. The staff was never seen other than when we would leave or return from exploring. The campground is quiet and kept really clean. The only negative is the bath house needs some sprucing. It's clean but doesn't really look it because it weathered. Also Corp of Engineer parks lock their gate at 10p. I feel they should all be made to have a gate with a code so if there was an emergency you could get out easily. Anyway... we will definitely be back!!
This place is awesome no problems whatsoever! And super friendly couple who run it! And super cheap compared to other places! Family friendly to the max!! ♡♡
Nice park & friendly staff, decent bath house,hot shower. Spent 12 days here, will definitely come back
Nice view of the lake. There is a lot of garbage on shore that could be cleaned up.
I let the attendants know that the bathrooms were a mess. The attendants said that cleaning the bathrooms isn't "their" job. And to top that off the attendants are rude to anyone under the age of fifty. Seriously not going off on a tangent here for no reason. Check the other reviews of this park. Other's are saying the same thing about attendants too. And a woman got run off by them earlier today. Camping facilities are... O.k. but I've had to walk what seemed a mile to get to the bathrooms-only to find them dirty. And the lake is so low right now that we had to walk over red clay mud to get to the water. I think we'll be camping somewhere else from now on.
