Not too busy on Monday night! Service was good and the food was hot. We had the catfish and country fried steak. Both very good but i like smaller sized catfish. The kale salad was also good. Love the fireplace on a cold day.
I am currently at Cracker Barrel and my waiter, Tyler, isn't exactly understanding everything. My mom has a specific way she wants her dinner which is usually fulfilled until Tyler took the order. He did not do it the way it's usually done. Also, I used to come here for their awesome steak fries which they have now gotten rid of. >:(
Service and food were substandard. Been going there ever since they open. Food quality is very poor considering the type of establishment it appears to be. I will never go back. I HOP WILL CONTINUE TO GET MY BUSINESS FROM NOW ON
Dinner and coffee after a 6 hour plus drive. The food was good and the service friendly and fast. Waitress kept drinks full and checked for any needs. Always fun picking out some sweets in the front from the large selection offered.
I know that this place was busy for Thanksgiving, but I believe that food should come out hot. I had a Chicken Fried Steak.. it and the gravy was just warm. The turnip greens had lots of ham, and really not fresh. The waitress took my order and when she brought the meal said that they were not making the Broccoli Salad today. I think she should have know that before hand. The quality of the food was Sub Par for what they are charging. The quality of other like style restaurants is much better. I will not be returning, as the Chicken Fry was like you buy frozen. The turkey and ham was not all that either. The biscuits were the best part of the meal.
