I heard a lot of other people's "opinions" of my choices for this pregnancy including a Hooter's waitress who ignorantly thought it was her place to tell me that Northside is a terrible hospital a week or two ago. I can confidently say that can't be further from the truth.
Since then, everyone I've encountered from the nurses to the housekeeping has been extremely helpful, positive, and congratulatory. To say I'm grateful would be an understatement.
Standing on the sidelines, as a husband does, I cannot offer enough praise for all the nurses that took care of my wife and baby girl. This was our 2nd rodeo at Northside Hospital Forsythe, absolutely amazing people here!
When we were told the c-section would be happening a lot sooner than what we planned on, all I could think about was how I wouldn't have MY doctor, who I had followed to Cumming because I trusted her and her practice's staff. I had no choice but to put my full faith in the Labor & Delivery staff on-call. These people were amazing. I went from exhausted and scared late Friday night to laughing and joking through my epidural and c-section, which seemed to have flown by.
I joke and say that one of the main reasons I want to have another baby is to go back to the hospital! (It's only sort of a joke.) The women's center was SO NICE! The staff was wonderful, food was actually GOOD, rooms were spacious, and it was overall a great facility.
We had three babies there...each time it was phenomenal. Baby factory at its best. I almost feel like my wife and I are at a resort for pregnancy.
Bringing a child into your life should be the most amazing time for the parents especially when choosing the hospital. Northside Forsyth Hospital Women's Center has the rudest, most arrogant, pretentious nurses that I have ever met.
If you trying to choose a hospital for the delivery of your previous child please go elsewhere.
