Just a great campground having a variety of sites and the ability to beach a boat near some sites.
Lots of wild life.
Great Campground, friendly people. The bathroom could be cleaner, but the rest is ok.
My family has been camping here for 20+ years. Love the lake and most sites are great. My only complaint over the last several years is that the steps or railroad tie borders have huge holes in many or swarming with yellow jackets. Those issues were on sites 47, 27, and 28. The later two are very dangerous getting to the campsite. The barhrooms are clean and the rangers patrol at night. We've been lucky not to have rowdy neighbors either.
Friendly & flexible staff, great views of Lake Lanier, plenty of bathrooms, and relatively cheap prices. Overall a great campground.
