I've been a member of chalcedon for the last two years and have thoroughly enjoyed seeing the growth in the church. When I started going there was a lack of evangelism however, with the appointing of deacons since that time we now have good streams of evangelism. Our elders have also made changes to make to church more family-friendly.
Chalcedon Presbyterian Church has been a great blessing to me over the years and particularly in the past three that I've been a member. The preaching ministry brings God's word to the congregation each week, verse by verse, and expounds its application to every sphere of life. Christ's Lordship is exalted, families are building Christian homes, and all of us together are growing in faith and the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Chalcedon is a vibrant church and I look forward to seeing how God uses this church to build up the saints and minister to the community for generations to come.
Very friendly to me as a first time visitor. Preaching is bible-based and heavily reformed. The preacher knows a lot about history, lol. I plan to visit again.
